My name is Margaret (Ms. Peggi) Kahler and I am a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I have lived in the Anchorage community for 23 years. I spent 9 years here as an active duty Air Force Nurse. When I retired from the Air Force my family relocated back to Anchorage.
In 1997, I noticed a gap in health care for children. Deciding to start a business where I would have the ability to go to the child like old fashioned doctors used to do, is rewarding, for both my patients and myself. In the years, my service has benefited many, ie. one car families, can’t get an appointment with child’s own MD, don’t live on a bus route, mom is on bed rest or parent is ill also. I have seen children at daycare centers, supermarkets, malls along with hotels and motels. Offering my services outside of the traditional workday, is convenient for most working parents. Most insurance companies accepted and accept cash, check or credit cards for payment.
